Exclusive: Stelios Stokes EasyJet War With Cameron Letter
The aviation tycoon Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou has waded into the political debate about moral capitalism by firing a new broadside at the board of easyJet, the airline he founded in 1995. I can reveal that Stelios today wrote to David Cameron to register his support for a new approach to boardroom pay that would involve requiring prior approval from at least 75 per cent of shareholders in public companies for discretionary bonus payments.
