Air Berlin, pilots shake hands in wage conflict
"German low-cost carrier Air Berlin said on Friday it had reached an agreement with trade union Cockpit, putting an end to a month-long wage conflict. The collective agreement guarantees the jobs of 1,200 aircraft captains at Air Berlin and its subsidiary, LTU, until December 31, 2010. In return, the pilots have agreed on a pay freeze and a guaranteed minimum number of working hours."
