EasyJet travellers in dark over flights

"Plans by easyJet to pull out of Derby's East Midlands Airport have left passengers in limbo, raising fears at the no-frills airline about damage to its reputation. When easyJet said this month it was ending operations at the airport, partly due to the impending rise in passenger duty, it began a 90-day consultation with 120 staff who face redundancy. That, it says, has prevented it from telling passengers what will happen if the changes take place, as seems certain. A spokesman said the airline would be breaking the law if it made refunds before December."
